Assembly

We feel it is important to come together to share our successes and build a supportive and positive culture and broaden children’s horizons. On Monday, we have our “Vision and Values” assemblies where we come together to learn about our Fox Hill Values, British Values and learn about any festivals, events or commemorations that are happening. On Mondays, each class also receives their “Class Briefing” where we celebrate good attendance and how to keep safe with a different safety theme each week.

We have “Talk Assemblies” in our phase teams where we look at and discuss current affairs and have a question related to the story such as: Can anyone be a leader? ; Should we celebrate the things that divide us? These kinds of questions allow us to explore British Values with the children as well as encouraging them to think for themselves.

Every Friday we hold our “Celebration Assembly”. We celebrate the academic achievements of our children with a Certificate of Achievement, share good news about those children who have really worked hard in school or made a special contribution through showing manners and teamwork and those values that are really important in the Trust. We give out certificates and stickers and celebrate the success of others. We really value our assemblies at Fox Hill Primary.
